🎯 Challenge Day at Neushoorn – a center of pop culture, education and production.
On the 4th of June 2025, the Dutch team organized an inspiring Challenge Day for Event Management students and their teachers – right at Firda’s vibrant Neushoorn location in the center of Leeuwarden, known for its professional stages, rehearsal rooms, and real-world event environment.
💡 In dynamic teams, students tackled six core objectives:
- Cultural awareness, sustainability & innovation
- Changing mindsets & problem-solving
- Inspiration & new insights
- Broadening horizons & societal involvement
- Enhancing empathy
- Intrinsic motivation & responsibility
The result? Innovative and practical proposals ready for implementation – set to boost the region’s sustainability.
The atmosphere was warm, inclusive, and collaborative. Students practiced key soft skills like empathy, open-mindedness, and entrepreneurial thinking. Group dynamics offered new perspectives and strengthened team bonds.
🎶 We also invited two local music industry entrepreneurs Delta Funktionen and Cyrilo the founder of SAVARI Studios, tying in Firda’s creative focus. This Challenge Day wasn’t just about ideas but also connections and inspiration.
The outcome: We formalized future collaboration with the Neushoorn venue, paving the way for ongoing partnerships and real event opportunities at Firda’s location.
We believe mentoring is about co-creating solutions, practicing empathy, and linking learning to real environments. This Challenge Day brought all three together beautifully.
